I am a relative newbie in formal botanical drawing... I spent years as a teenager exploring and hiking with friends in the Sierra Nevada and up to 12,000 ft in Wyoming in the Wind River Range and did on site plein air ink and watercolor drawings of flowers for years.. strictly amateurish I assure you :) Have always as an adult wanted to learn more formal botanical art and finally finally found the right site with Billy and the right comraderie to help me through the tutorials. thank you all ! Will be a challenge I know.

I worked as a federal speech pathologist for the US gov for many years and now am learning to play the banjo have a large extended family clan in California and am originally from upstate NY where my love of history also comes into play. thanks of reading this tome!
